North of Cambria

I was traveling on the coast of California in Big Sur, just north of Cambria. I heard the call of the elephant seals and wanted to see if we could find them. And I loved this spot and had to paint it. This perspective drew me into the ocean, with it’s spectacular color of blue. This contrasts with the color of the dune and the touch of green from the wild grass.
